About NGO Planet

NGO Planet is a collection of blogs by or about people working for NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) around the world. If you write about NGOs or NGO workers, please join in.

To add your blog to NGO Planet, send a mail to Roopesh Chander at roop@forwardbias.in with your blog url. Optionally include your NGO's website url, and an image of yourself or your NGO's logo for use as a hackergotchi.

Technical stuff

NGO Planet is powered by rawdog, an open-source rss aggregator written by Adam Sampson.

The rawdog used here includes some updates by Roopesh Chander to get a customizable feeds page (with gotchis) and to get rss and opml dumps. The rawdog code changes and the rawdog template developed for NGO Planet are available under GPLv2 in the ngoplanet_org github repository.

The RSS icon is a property of FeedIcons.com. The OPML icon is a property of Ken Rossi. The NGO Planet logo is a property of Roopesh Chander.
All other logos and content are properties of their respective owners.
